LImos?

We went to look for limos last weekend for the first time are were quoted over $1400 for a classic car plus 14 person limo for 3.25 hours. Umm.... That was almost DOUBLE what I had budgeted. This is too much. Right? Our other option is 2 seperate limos (No classic car- to save $) which was $1150. Still.. a bit much I feel. What kind of quotes are you guys getting. This doesn't even include a pick up after the reception for us.

LImos? - Long Island Weddings

I just reread your post, and over 1400 for a classic and 14 person limo seems a little high, unless its a specific type of classic car, then perhaps that could account for the hiked up price.

We're paying a little over 1200 for a 18 seater audi and rolls royce for 3 hrs. They even threw in a drop off to our reception afterwards, or to take us to the airport for our honeymoon. Try looking at Camelot or Trans star. Both have pretty solid reputations and fair pricing.

Cool, thanks. I'll look into these places. We only have 11 people total (including US) so we don't even need a 14 seater. If we do our own car, we only need room for 9.

Thanks babe. I didn't think of them running small and needing extra room. I thought they were just trying to upsell us to a huge vehicle we don't need.

We're using Camelot also but FH picked the most expensive car ever and that alone is costing us $1300. I did find that they had the most reasonable prices though - and Joe is great to work with!

Would that be the rolls Royce phantom? I heard those alone can run pretty high.

Haha yeah! That was the lowest quote we received. It was the only thing that FH was insisting on, so how do I say no!?

Trans Star gave me a good quote too. I plan on making a trip out to meet with thema nd hope to find one or 2 other companies to meet with the same day. We plan on having the whole bridal party (3 guys/3 girls) and his mom and my parents in one limo and then us in a classic car or another limo if we can't afford the car. So it's a total of 9 people and then the 2 of us to make 11.

What RSPan14 said! I saw only saw one or two places offer pick up after the reception... if only I remembered who offered that.

Camelot offered us the option of sending a car to pick us up at the reception, and drop us off at out hotel, or bring us to the airport on our way to our honeymoon. We choose the first one. :) Most limo places are willing to throw that in if you say another company offered you that deal.
