This may be something I should know, but how many limos do you need, and who is supposed to ride in them?
On the way to the church - If the groom is at home and I am at a hotel 5 mins away from the church, could we use one limo and have 2 trips, or is that just not how it's done? Is there a separate bride/groom limo or everyone together? Parents of the bride/groom? Clearly I'm clueless about all this stuff. Thanks!

Limos
I think it mostly depends on your personal preferences, budget and how many people are in your bridal party.
If you are not seeing each other before the ceremony, you can either have the limo make 2 trips or have 2 limos (1 for each location). You can also have a separate car for you and your parent(s) to arrive in. If you get the separate car you can then use it after the ceremony for just you and the groom to go to the reception together, with everyone else in the limo. Hopefully that all made sense!
I think the best way to approach it is to see what your limo options are based on the number of people you are providing transportation for. Personally I am using a party bus and 1 smaller car (for parents and I and then groom and I).

At least when I was looking, most limos for weddings were something like 3.5 hours. Within that 3.5 hours, you can have them drive where ever you want them to drive. So for me, within that 3.5 hours, it will pick up groom and his family, drop at church, pick up me and my family, drop us at the church, wait, take us and bridal party to photo location and finally reception.

Limos
We are getting one huge hummer limo that way the whole bridal party can fit in it. We are having the limo pick up the guys, bring them to church then the girls and me and bring the to church and then after the ceremony, the whole bridal party will hop in the limo and go to reception. I don't know how we will all get home though after reception lol

That's how it is for me too, by the hour. The party bus for us is picking up the guys at my FH's house, dropping them off at the church and then coming to get the girls at my house.
