Limos and dates??

Limos and dates??

Ok, so Im starting to do some limo research and I'm a little confused.

I'm including the bridal party dates, but is it typical that the dates come to the ceremony? Our ceremony is at 3pm on a Friday (so they ill prob be working), and the CH hour starts at 7pm.

I have 8 girls, so with dates that's 16 people on my side alone. FH hasn't asked everyone, but I'll just assume he's going to end up with 8 like me.

I would need 2 large cars or a bus for them all..and then if some of the dates don't come to ceremony and meet them at the reception then I might only need one really big car.

What do you ladies think and how are you handling it??

No dates! it would cost you $$$$$. Let them get there themselves.

Yea I definitely can't afford to throw dates in there!! It is already 23 people with just us and the BP

I should add, we have 3 coach buses taking our guests from the church to the RH so they dont have to find a way there on their own..

so let them go on the coach busses.

oh no way! no dates in the limo. whenever i was a BM, my date had to go with my friends or his friends. That's too much $

ITA with everyone. We are not including BP dates in the limos... plus we are not having the limos bring our BP home after the reception so we figure thier dates will be their rides home... or of course they can jump in with friends

we are personally including the dates in the final count in the limo whether they come in the limo or not. We would like them to have that option (though I think most of the dates are probably going to check them into the room at the hotel and take the shuttle to the RH).

If you have a really large group it's completely understandable that you do the limo for BP only. My MOH didn't include the BP dates in the limo because it just wasn't in the budget and everything worked out fine.

Of all the weddings I have been in the bridal party guests were not in the limo. My date for my friends wedding wasn't in the BP and he drove with one of the other BM's boyfriend to the church and the reception. I wouldn't include BP guests because that would be too much

MY issue with having dates was.... how was the BP getting home? I'm relying on our friends and their dates to take them home after the reception, cause I'm not paying for limos again at night tot ake everyone to various places.

I was going to say the same thing. The ones in the bridal party are going to need a way home after the wedding. I never even considered including the dates of the bp in the limo. I've never heard of that before.
