Limos. Enlighten me.

Limos. Enlighten me.

Soooooo last night FH and I were talking limos.

We're getting married at the RH. I'm getting ready at a hotel with my side of the BP.

My parents live out of state, so they'll be at the hotel too, as will my grandpa. I'd like them to travel with us in a limo.

How does the limo thing work in a situation like this? FH is getting ready at his parents' house, with his side of the BP. They can either use limos or just use his parents' and brother's cars. He's cool with either. I'm leaning toward this as a strong possibility.

But what happens at the end of the night? A lot of the limo packages I see are for 3 hours...is that 3 hours of service or 3 hours total? It's confusing meeeeeeeeee since receptions alone are usually more than 3 hours.

Is this one of those moments when I'm completely missing something here? Is it because my underwear is on inside out today?

u can have the limos as long as u want. but generally ppl dont pay to have limos linger til mindnight. cuz u pay by the hour

u can get a van for the end of the night for liek 150 and itll drop every1 off at 1 location.

sounds like you need a pick up drop off for you/family and the bp.

what are you doing after the wedding?

That sounds like the right term, LOL!

That makes it easier!

Yes, everyone that is coming from the hotel is going back to it. Plus others but they can figure it out on their own unless they're BP folks.

Well........there are a few options here:

Most companies will provide a towncar or something to pick up you and FH at the end of the night.

As for your BP and parents, you can either arrange for a car service for them......OR

Your BP can be driven back by their guests and your parents/grandparents can hitch a ride with someone.

Whenever I've been a BM, I always just got a ride back with FH because if he wasn't a GM, he wasn't in the limo.

I'm having issues with this also - I want to get a coach bus to bring all of the guests to and from the reception but that's big $$$$$ but I don't want people to drive drunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this is why I'm leaving limos to the very last and having my DOC do them b/c this has been the most stressful part of the whole planning process!!!1

Re: Limos. Enlighten me.

Thank you ladies for your help! Camelot's been on my list of limo vendors to call if we use limos...I'll also check out RJ's.

Thanks, Laura for the scenarios! It really helps
