Limos for Large BPs

Limos for Large BPs

What is your limo situation for those of you with large BPs? We have 11 GM, 10 BM, 2 FG and 1 RB. I'm not sure what to do !

We went with a limo bus. I have 7 BM, 8 GM, 2 RB and 1 FG

We were never fans of having to crouch down, while dressed nicely, to get to a seat 20 feet away in a limo. This way none of the girls will be tripping over their dresses while trying to climb to a seat. The bus we got is a 22 passenger, but I know they have them up to at least 34.

My brother had 26 people in his bridal party, plus a flower girl, and they rented a 30 passenger party bus. It was amazing!

I was so opposed to limo buses at first, but after reading this, I think I'm changing my mind! Good point!

I really didn't want a limo bus either but I haven't completely eliminated it. I was told the most economical way might be an SUV but I'm not looking forward to that either. Grrrrrrrr I don't know if a 14 pass would be too tight. Plus we have a long day which means more hours and $$$ for the limos. The church is at 1pm and the reception at 7pm.

Good question...Have you figured out how much time you'll need for pics and where you'll have them?

We definitely have the time for pics between the church & reception. We'll be going to the Planting Fields then meeting the family at CLM about an hour before the CH for family pics.. We figure we'll need a limo for at around 6 hours.

Have you priced out different places yet? Explain your situation to them, tell them your budget. I think you should get the bus, you have a lot of people! But maybe in shopping around, you might find a huge SUV to fit all of you, or, you and dad/mom can get a small car, and get the BP a bus/suv? We might end up doing that.

I'll have to do more pricing/comparing/etc. I do plan on getting a Rolls for myself (one thing I've always wanted!).
Hey, I just realized, you're getting married on my Bday!! Yeah!!

We are in the same situation 9BMs, 9 GMs, FG &RB plus we want to be un the same limo as the wedding party. We are thinking of getting a 34 -40passenger LImo bus.

Such a pathetic thing to note too...... A lot of party buses have a bathroom. I am a bride that must go all the time, as I am addicted to water. BUT.... I have been in many bridal parties that have to stop at a gas station while you're going to do the pictures. (Not at my call, but other BMs.) Most of the guys just go when you're outside of a building, they don't care.

Just another thought as you're thinking about tripping over your dresses while climbing into a regular limo. I am the realistic bride, can you tell?

We are having a large BP also. I was originally thinking a couple of hummers but it so not me. Now I am leaning towards the cadillac escalade. It is the closest thing to a regualr looking limo you will get for a large BP. I am not a fan of the bus either. If you are going for a classy look I would say the cadillac escalade.

I feel the same way about the party buses, that they aren't classy enough. FH wants it because it will be fun, which I'm sure it will be - but I'm thinking more of the Escalade too.

I will probably do the escalade. Carry the guys to the church, then back to pick up the girls then they will all ride to the reception together.

I'm thinking of doing the escalade and a nicer car like a rolls royce for my Dad and I to go to church in and then for pictures of the bride and groom after church.

We have 15 members of our bridal party, plus us, plus parents...very big....we got a Limo Bus so everyone can be together. It holds approx 50 people, so we'll have plenty of space.

ETA: It may not look classy pulling up to the church/reception, but I'd much rather be comfortable and not wrinkled from climbing in and out of a limo.

I had alarge bridal party of 24 people and we used a trolley from Classic Transportation and it was the best thing I had decided on. It had a lot of room and it was so cute.

i'm planning to go with the trolley too. It's cute and I've seen some pictures that I love with the whole bridal party on board, complete with a 'Just Married' poster on back. We have 7BMs, 8GMs, 3 ushers, 2FGs, and 1RB.

Good luck!
