Limos= how much is too much to spend??

OK....so we booked Hall, Photo, Video, DJ and the Church is tomorrow and the Hotel blocking is today. And that was done all within 2 weeks haha

But we want to try to book limo's before FH leaves in 2 1/2 weeks!!

Just wondering how much is too much to spend on limo's? We are not sure how we should budget ourselves with this. I mean we have been great with our budget so far- just splurge a little extra for photo/video. But for limo's we want to keep it simple. Just not sure how much money every one spends!!

FYI: we need atleast a limo big enough to fit 15 people (bridal party + fh's grandma and mom and dad)

and a fancy car for my dad and I and mom. haha

you can post on the vendor board and they will fm you prices- it will at least give you an idea of general costs.

we did two 14 pass white limos and the fancy for me for under 1000...but we didnt need them for a long time ...ceremony and reception are at the same p lace

I don't plan on spending more than $1000. We're going to need 2 limos; 1 for me and my BMs and parents, and one for FH and his GMs and parents.. then me and FH will go in one limo with the BP and both of our parents will take the extra limo to the RH... at least that's how I invision it. We're going to need something like an Excursion or Escalade for the BP and us and then something smaller for our parents... but we really don't want to spend more than $1K... ask the 07 ladies... they're probalby be able to give you a more realistic idea of what you're looking at.

Since you have 15 and you need a smaller car for about 6 people, i think you should me able to budget for around 1500. But I havent looked too deeply into limos yet, so i could be a lil off.

Im using royalty limo ..we have used them for other things and they are always great

I would say tops $2k. but it all depends on whether you need overtime or not.


The base prices usually provide for 3 hours and then they charge by the hour after that.

The overtime is where they get you.

i doubt you will need overtime then. you have gotten a lot done already, congrats! limo was the easiest vendor to book for us.

I got an escalade and a 14 passenger limo for 5 hours for under 2k, hope that helps!

i originally wanted the 2007 rolls royce phantom and then quickly realized i was out of my mind it was 3200 for 3 hours

I got quoted $1500 for a 20 passenger Escalade and a rolls.

We didn't want to spend alot on limos cause it's really a waste. so we only got one 14 passenger and 1 rolls royce for us. we have 12 people in the bridal party so it works out ok. he said he would pick up the guys first and then come get us. and fh's parents and mine will leave there cars at the church so they can use ther eown cars to go to the RH. Cause ther eis no point in spedning an extra amoutn of money to get a car for the parents to go to the RH. So we saved on that. I rather the money go to somehting better.
