Limos: very confused about what to do

We are trying to cut costs somewhere and for me, I could care less about a limo. But then again, I can't get out of my FH's car with it's stolen airbags or my Dad's jeep.

What is normal? Who goes in the limo and for how long? From where to where? Do I have to put the BP in a limo? The parents? Do I have to take them home too?

You can handle the limos pretty much however you want. Traditionally, just the BP w/ the bride & groom ride in the limo. And, no, you don't have to give everyone a limo ride home. The parents are optional. Though if your dad is walking you down the aisle, he will probably ride in the limo with you to the church/ ceremony site.


Most limo companies start out the rental for 3 hrs. The limo arrives at your house, takes you (and your BMs possibly) to the ceremony location, and waits. Then after the ceremony, the BP jumps in and you head off to your photo location or to the reception site and that's it. Then, the limo companies usually throw in the free car home (or to hotel or airport) for you and the groom and possibly your parents.

I have 2 limos for 3 and a 1/4 hours each...
one limo for the bridal party
one limo for our parents
FH & I are planning on going into the bridal party limo after the ceremony but if we dont fit we will go into the parent limo...
bridal party limo is going to pick up all the guys from where they are getting ready...bring them to the chruch... and then come to my house to get the girls...bring them to the church...
parent limo will just come to my house...get my parents...and bring them to the church...
oh and FH's parents will be taken over to the church w/ the boys...
then after the ceremony we all pile in and go to the reception hall...
When I went to Royalty they explnd everything to me and mapped out where each limo would go b/c I was confused at first...
