Limos...Advice/Thoughts/Suggestions?

Limos...Advice/Thoughts/Suggestions?

OK...so we're getting married at our RH. FH is staying at the hotel the night before so he won't need a limo. I need a limo to pick me and the BMs up from my house in Whitestone to drive us to Westbury Manor. Why is it that the limo companies require a minimum of 2 or 3 hours? It takes 30 minutes to get there and I have to pay $850 for a 30 minute ride...does anyone else feel frustrated by this? Or know of any limo companies that would charge a reasonable price for a half hour ride??

HELP!!

not usre- I am ok with 3 hrs. as we're all staying at hotel tonight and even though only a 10-15 ride b/w hotel and RH- driver will be doing shifts- ladies first, then guys, then back for family, then eventually for guests that arenot involved in photos.

try Royalty Limos, i think they charge 500 for 3 hrs, which is less then the quote u have.

Call Camelot, Joe really works with you, I dont know what the minimum time is but its worth a call.

for $850 you could probably pay for the whole bridal party to stay at the hotel too!

We decided to skip limos. FH is staying at his parents place the night before, because they are within walking distance of the RH, and I am staying in a hotel nearby with my family. FH will just drive the 2 minutes to the RH, and my dad will just drive me over with the rest of the family. I will probably just get changed once I get there...

I know, I thought they were out of their minds!! I actually just apoke with Anthony at A&L Limos and they could give me the Hummer H2 limo for pick up and drop off for only $350! I'm going to get there next week to check them out. They're a vendor on here so I'm sure they're good!

We have almost the same situation. We are using Legend Limos because they offer a pick up/drop off service. It is substantially cheaper--we are paying $185 including tax for a 10 passenger Lincoln to bring me from Brooklyn to JT. This is one way but it is much cheaper than paying $800 for a 3 hour package which you will not need. Check out Legend and also M&V Limos offer the same service. If you have any further questions, FM me. Good Luck.

AllStar Limo is like $400 for 5 hours for me....if it helps????

And I'm going from LI to Queens....

I had the same problem with my limo service because I am getting married at the reception hall so all I need is a pickup dropoff service which not many companies offer.
Legend Limos offer that service, I have an appointment with them tomorrow. Stay away from M&V, they have alot of bad posts on here and they are on the BBB.

Re: Limos...Advice/Thoughts/Suggestions?

I am looking just a pick up/ and drop off and they are giving me a price of like $180 per limo per pick up. If not you can get just 1 limo for 3 hrs and they can take the 1st group and then come back and take the second group (this is another option that I am also considering)

Thanks for the info. We're having the same problem. Even with an hour-long Mass, I seriously doubt we'd need a full 3 hour pacakge too.

I'm staying at my apartment in Moriches the night before, driving out to my parents in Lindenhurst, the church is in Deer Park and the RH is in Baiting Hollow! I'm hoping to get a ride out to Lindenhurst from my apartment and use up some hours between there and the church. Then I'll get something different altogether between the church and RH... I hope..
