Lindenhurst Girls...LIRR Parking Q HELP!(repost Homes)

Ladies, I'm going to be moving in April to an apt. in Lindenhurst & I'll be commuting to the city. I wanted to know how to go about being able to park at the RR station. Also is there a lot of parking? Does it pay to drive to Babylon to get the train?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I used to live in Lindenhurst and never used the lindenhurst train station...you really have to be careful of the area...i always went to babylon...parking was great and there were always people around.

I used to commute from lindenhurst to the city. Since I stopped commuting, I believe the new parking lot is opened so I dont think you will have a problem with finding a spot. I was never nervous being there by myself and sometime I would be on an extremely early train out of there.

Thank you! I was also just told you can park on the residential streets off Hoffman...

My FH used to park his car under the tracks across the street from Wellwood Ave. Its open property there and you dont need a sticker to park there. That also might be an option for you.

Its very difficult to park at Lindenhurst, You can park on the side streets around the post office, but you have to be careful, I was there this morning and I saw them giving someone a ticket on the sidesteet. Why dont you try Copiague, that is what my sister does.
