I know that these look so pretty, but would it be so bad if I do not get them.
I finally decided on the most amazingly beautiful invite. I love it so much, It is $200 over my budget for invites, but I have to have them. I could cut the final cost by $140 if I go without the lined inner envelopes.
Thoughts????

I wouldn't worry about the lined envelopes. They just go in the garbage anyways when someone gets the invite. I bet you nobody would notice.

Re: Lined inner envelopes
If it means getting the invites you like, then go for it. You just have to make sure you fully address the outer envelope then to list everyone from one household that you're inviting. For example, if you're having children under 18 and they are not getting their own invitation, make sure you list them on the outer envelope.

$140 to get the inner envelopes lined - that's outrageous. How many invites are you ordering?

I am ordering 100 invites. To line them would be over $100, I guess because it is a very elegant invite.
