I am using our catering hall's table cloths and chair covers, but I wanted to do sashes and table runners. I ordered a sample from a site and might just pay someone $50 to set it up. They would be mine to keep, so I wouldn't have to worry about shipping them back. All the linen companies on the island that I checked with want somewhere between $600-$900 for linens and I just think that's nuts. What do you guys think?

I think that's nuts too. I plan to buy overlays and then resell. I think I am making chair bows as I have an idea that involves using a few different kinds of materials. If not, I will buy them too. The cost will be in having someone set up. My DOC will charge 1.00 a chair, which seems high for 200 chairs. Who did you find that would charge just $50?

I agree it's nuts!!! At first $1 a chair didn't sound bad for set-up but when you think $200 it does sound a little crazy!

I thought about doing the same but then I was like it is unnecessary. RH is throwing in chair covers and honestly, no one will care about the bow, except for me and my mom. Sorry mom, can use that money elsewhere

I am doing tablecloths and chair bands with rhinestones and to buy everything it's like $600 so why would I rent it? The rental fees are crazy! I am obviously in the wrong business. LOL I wanted to exact look I wanted so I had to rent or buy and I rather keep the stuff in the end and sell them.
