The eggplant would tie in the purple I want and then I would probably just leave my flowers in shades of red since finding dark purple flowers in October seems to be more difficult than putting a man on the moon.

i think the second option may be too dark. i like the first option (im a little partial since i did white table cloths with red runners) but are you using damask anywhere else? does it tie in with other stuff?

LOL, now that you mention it I'm not!!! My invitations and all of my day of stationary was going to have it on it but I changed it all because my cousin who pushed her wedding up to 2 weeks before mine is doing damask everything Ha! I guess back to the drawing board.

i like option 1 better... aside from 2 being too dark i think, the colors wont really compliment each other that well imo

The reds are either like a cherry red which I hate more than anything and then they look kind of dark after that... I called the place and left a message to make an appointment to see the colors in person.
I don't even like red that much so I'm not sure how it even got thrown into my whole color mix!!!! LOL!!!!

are you have circular or oval/rectangular tables? If circle, i think table runners look funny... how do you know which side to put the runner?
I picked linens last night too!!!... ivoryish with a gold shimmer and they have rooshing (sp?)... i'm boring!

They're oval... if they were round I would have all sorts of other issues.
Your linens are going to be gorgeous!! My issue is I like dark colors. But I can't figure out how to get the purple, wine(red) and black in the room and tie it all together.
