Does anybody know anything about corsets? I want one, but all the ones I see push your boobs up (and out) and I don't want that- I just want the waist part.

Don't look for a corset. Look for a waist cincher.
This isn't the prettiest one, just an example.

Thanks- I see what you mean. I do want a bra attached, just not so much of a push up.

Why not try a long line bra? It's a bra up top (usually strapless) and then has boning (like a corset) that goes down to your waist (above your hips, not past). It closes in the back but only around your waist, leaving your back bare so you can have a low-back dress.
