I'm also considering doing a candy bar, but I'm going to borrow the jars from my friend's candy store. You can always look into renting or borrowing from a store you're friendly with.

oooh a friends candy store... sounds dangerous! I don't have a candy jar hook-up, but I do have DJ and invite ones. Got to love the hook-ups.

I am considering doing the punch buffet before our ceremony starts. The ceremony and reception are both in the same backyard. The ceremony will be in a separate part of the yard, and I just picture guests milling around while they wait for it to start. I thought this would be a good way to get the mingling started and give people a nice welcome and something to do with themselves. We aren't setting up chairs for everyone (just older guests, etc).
