LIRR

just out of curiosity, does anyone know how it's running this morning?

i already called out b/c i have a half day and figured by the time i got into the city, i would just have to leave.

It is running on a limited rush schedule, which still doesnt seem right because the news has been at a station since 3am and only has seen 2 trains.

ha, of course!

the LIRR has a different definition of the word limited than the rest of the world.

i def made the right decision by not even attempting to make it into work then.

i was going to try and go but the news kept on saying how limited it was PLUS there was no parking at the station. YAY for snow day!

Delays were horrible and still are! MTA says 10-15 but it real people language that is at least an hour

my train was supposed to be there at 7:35, a train came at 7:55....but I don't think it was my train.....the streets are horrible in the city!!!!

My dad called me at 5am and said to not bother - the parking lot wasn't even touched.

I saw on a news a train on the Port Washington line was supposed to come at 5:19am and didnt come till 8:09am!!!!!!!! All along the signs were saying it was ON TIME!!!

What BS!!!!!!!!!

by my job it said 60-90 minutes delays

OMG that's ridic!! My FH's neighbor waited at the Manhasset station which is the port line and it never came so he just went home
