LIRR ladies . . .

what did you do last night / what are you doing today or tonight? Penn was INSANE last night, but I left for my friend's apartment and stayed over. But I hear there still aren't any eastbound trains - how can it be??
ETA: just looked on MTA website and seems like most branches have 'good service'

so last night we caught the 540 train. once we got out of the tunnel we stopped for about an hour only to be told we need to go back to penn

we went to tgif for over an hour then decided to take the e to roosevelt ave so we could take the f to the last stop. the fcukin e train was a nightmare!!! it took forver to get to queens!!!!!!!!!!

thank god my mil was off and lives in queens. she picked us up and drove us to our station to get our car.

this morning the cancelled the 748 train the train after wasnt that packed but moved a little slow.

dh has a 4pm meeting today so after that we will be going straight home. hopefully it wont be as bad as last night!! 5 hours to get home scuks ballllssss big time!!!!!!!!!

DH got home at midnight last night. He ended up taking the E to Jamaica and then took the LIRR from there. He better not have the same issues today....we have to go to Adriana's wedding!

It was a total nightmare - I left work at 5:30, got to Penn Station at 6 pm, only to hear about the suspended service. Managed to claw my way with the herd toward the 'E' train and get on it.
Arrived at Jamaica LIRR terminal at 6:45 - 7 pm only to be told there was limited service.

Waited another 30 minutes for the Far Rockaway and Huntington lines to leave, hopped on the Long Beach line until LIRR announced my line was open so I jumped off and ran toward the next Track.Got to the LIRR station at 8:30 pm to pick up my car.

Yes, it was bad

I ended up just driving into work today. Screw the hassle w/ LIRR. I'm looking into getting a monthly garage parking spot because I hate the LIRR/MTA w/ a passion!

He did that an still got home at midnight??

I just didn't know what to do! I had to get out of Penn though, I was getting claustrophobic. And the police were closing the gates on both sides and only letting people through one at a time!! What if there was a real emergency or a fire or something?? it would have been mayhem!

I took the E to Jamaica last night, lucked out and the first train that came in was going to Farmingdale. I was supposed to get in at 7:12, I got in at 8, so it wasnt so bad.

This morning however, I saw the same posting on the MTA website that there was 'good Service' on most of the branches, however at Farmingdale the 7:22, 7:27 and 7:58 trains were canceled, the 8:07 was 23 minutes late, etc.

Wound up just hoping on the first train that came in. Got on at 8:02, got to Penn at 9:33
