List of must-take photos
I've put together a list of must-take photos but now what. Who do I give the list to and how do they keep track of which photos have been taken?

List of must-take photos
Ask a friend to keep track. The photographer or assistant won't know who's who.

List of must-take photos
We had a comprehensive list-- we gave to the photographer as well as hasd a copy on us (well in my folder of stuff that someone was in charge of) we kept meaning to check the list(didnt do it) but we got all the shots--unfortunately he missed some obvious shots(some people walking down aisle, some walking into reception- but he got most of my list--which was long) def put someone in charge of it Laura

Maria my advise
I wouldn't give a two page list of pictures to anyone b/c I doubt anyone will be able to keep track. I didn't do this and wish I would of. Your photograper will take the most obvious pictures - so leave them off - such as me and mom, me and dad, me and sisters and brohters - but a list with pictures that only you would know. My photographer took care of all the must have with out a list but it was those that I wanted but of course forgot the day of. My list would of had only about 6 shots on it. I would of given this job to someone in the wedding party and said make sure I try and get these done. (or remind me of them) Good Luck.

Strong suggestion for picture lists - Long
I don't want to make you worry needlessly, but you should DEFINITELY have a list made up, of ALL shots that you want. You could separate it out into two sections, one for 'standard' shots, and one for 'special' shots, and therefore, the photographer could pay attention to the 'special' ones, and not feel insulted at your giving him/her the list for the standard shots as well. However, I STRONGLY recommend that instead of giving these lists only to the photographer, that you also have either a close friend (someone who would know all the people), or relative (who's maybe not in the bridal party, so they have the time), to make sure that ALL of the shots you want are taken. Believe it or not, there were some 'standard' shots that my photographer forgot to take, like one of me and my maid of honor, together, etc. We were rushed that morning (unplanned), and some of these standard ones were never taken, and never realized it until I look at the pictures (and I have over 750 proofs). So, now, we have to take bridal party shots, and air brush out the rest of the bridal party in order to get one of the two of us alone. It's a big hassle and was unnecessary. Just my advise, having been through it. Good luck!Welcome New Vendors
