List of Supplies to Start Scrapbookin' & Other Silly Q's

Hi ladies, I've just recently taken an interest in scrapbooking after seeing a friend make a beautiful album for her son.

I am really psyched about getting started, but don't want to go crazy buying everything that is out there.

Where do I start?

What are the basics that I need?

Also, silly Q, but is each scrapbook for only 1 theme (school, engagement, etc.) or can 1 book encompass many events?

Thank you ladies, sorry for my ignorance.

Also, has anyone in Queens been to the new scrapbook store in Whitestone on Clintonville Street?

Basics you need,
PAPER CUTTER/Trimmer,
ADHESIVES/GLUE
PAPER/CARDSTOCK, whatever size you want, depending on your book,
embellishments.

Album

thats about it but you will buy lots of other goodies when you start to get into it MORE.

and to answer your Silly Q,
you dont have to do a theme for each book,
do whatever your heart desires. Its your book, One book can encompass many events as you like.

I have not been to the scrapbooking store in whitestone,
but have been to the NEW one in Bayside
http://www.americanscrapbookingcenter.com/
and they had a Great selection of Papers.

Best of Luck and ENJOY,
Hope this Helps, I am pretty New to it too
bye
