I am now in the middle of trying to choose a florist for our wedding and I could use some helpful info. Can you please list the following:
1. Vendor's name; 2. If you will have high or low centerpieces and how many you need for your reception; 3. What your budget restrictions were (if any); and laslty 4. Your experience with the vendor.
This would be such a great help ladies. TIA.

I am in the process of choosing a florist right now too. I met with 3 florists: Flower Michele, Flowers by Brian and Pedestals. My experience with each was great. I think we are going to go with Flower Michele. They gave us the best price.
We need an estimate of 17 centerpieces and we having low ones. We don't want to spend too much on flowers. Our budget was around 2000 and are spending less.

1. James Cress Florist 2. Low ..all in Galvanized tin watering cans and I think we need 12-14 3. Never really set a certain amount. Knew it would be sort of costly b/c Mr. Cress is pricey but I had to have his work. 4. He is phenominal!!!! I highly recommend him.

I am booked with Flower Michelle (John) High centerpieces.. tall trumpet vases with long calla liliies.. he stayed at my budget.. even took money off to stay within my budget!!!!!!!!! I have seen soo much of his work through this site and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Pedestals High centerpieces with burch and hydgrangeas I originally was hoping to stay under 2k , but when I saw what Robert envisioned I felt it was woth it to pay the extra money. So now i'm paying $3500. Robert is amazing. He is so creative and so kind. I know my final product will be amazing.

Burtons Low - about 16-18 Budget- 2K...and Burtons is charging me 2K Great experience....very nice and helpful...all flowers are the same price...no matter what you get

1. Signature Florists in Bellmore 2. about 22 High CP - with 2 dozen roses mixed w/ other flowers. 3. Budget was 3k and was able to stay under it 4. I had a great experience w/ them.

1. Floral Prestige 2.low, and i don't know yet 3. n/a 4. Jola is wonderful, i had no clue as to what i wanted other than a color and that i can't have roses cause FMIL is allergic, but Jola gave me great ideas and she just so nice.

2. High CPs..roughly 13, that may change as we work on the guest list (the sore spot in my life right now )
3. I didn't want to go over 5K for the flowers and we stayed under that..it may even go down because I think I might change the ceremony flowers around
4. They've been wonderful so far...they're truly excited about doing my flowers, even John who isn't my guy is really excited about how our CPs are going to come out. They're so excited they even asked if they can take pictures of the CPs and I told them totally...its gonna be so cool!!!

1. Design by Rose 2. 16 or so depending on how many tables I will have eventually -- but low CPs. See pic. 3. I didn't budget for CPs first -- so, pretty much limited to roses and one fillers. 4. They are very understanding of any budget and willing to work with you.
They are also doing our chuppah. Very simple chuppah .....but will cost us $600 or so
Ceremony flowers * Gazebo decorated on top with a spray of white flowers. Champagne fabric draped on both sides with 2 bouquets on each side * 6 aisle candelabras to go down aisle with ivy and orchids *rose petals for aisle
Reception * 14 tall candelabra centerpieces, VERY GIRTHY and full with all white flowers and draping ivy rose petals and votives at the base * rose petals and flowers for cake * rose petals for placecard table * flower arrangement for sweetheart table
3) price is extremely resonable. FM me for price.
4) John is GREAT and SOOOOOOO SWEET

Flower Michele About 17 High Centerpieces with 5 Dozen Roses in each & Candles He was extremely generous and amazed me John is just the man in every aspect!
Oh he is also decorating the outside canopy/chuppa with Tule and flowers.

Designs By Rose 22 High centerpieces (roses, hydrangea, orchids, bells of Ireland) had no idea how much it would be and am well under 3k!! Great experience!!! Willing to work with any budget. Not pushy at all. They really listen to what you like and what you don't like. They get a real sense of what your trying to capture.
