Didn't your car get broken into last year on Valentine's Day??? What is with your car and this time of year?

I am glad that it wasn't stolen. This has happened to a few of my friends in Baltimore City. If the city wants to plow or cut down trees, they tow the cars a few blocks away and don't tell anyone. I think it is the strangest thing.

I was thinking the same thing!!

I was going to say you have no luck with your cars but at least this time you found it!! I can't believe they would tow a car and just leave it ANYWHERE like that. Not cool.

How obnoxious! I am equally surprised that the police didn't know about the trees being cut and didn't think to suggest it! Was it a private tree service or were they working for the city?

OMG Glad you got it back, but was your door open for them to put it in Nuetral? Doesn't that ruin a car unless you tow it in Nuetral? The time I got towed they made me put my car in Nuetral tellin me it would ruin my car if I didn't . I would check on that and do a lot of yelling if that is true!!

Gosh that is a good way to make people think they are nuts....move the car and they think they parked it there but can't remember doing it!

If it's a front wheel drive the car doesn't LIKE to be towed much at all. It can lock up the steering column. It won't ruin the car, but it's not exactly recommended. If done often or in a rush it can indeed damage the car. It's never suggested.

If it was flat bed moved (which I doubt) there's less chance of damage. It's really not good when they pull it along. *cringe*

Jennbaby, I am not surprised!

When I went to queens college, that happened to me and a friend of mine. Actually one of the construction workers told me, 'just walk around the area, you'll find it' and of course the motor vehicle towing people knew nothing about it!!!!
