One of my best friends is getting married Sept 6 up by Niagara Falls (so she isn't a member on our happy LIW website - though I've told her she should join anyway LOL). So, she just told me that her FH's brother's wife, who was a BM in the wedding, told her last week that she doesn't know if she can even attend the wedding b/c supposedly she started a new job or some cr*p, and she doesn't think they'll let her take off. That alone sounds like BS, but THEN, just yesterday, my friend learns that this chick ALREADY RETURNED HER DRESS AND EVERYTHING and has no plans of being in the wedding or even attending!!! My friend is LIVID right now! I cannot even imagine! The nerve of some people, I swear!

Seriously, stinks that she has to deal with this! Hopefully they can work something out, or maybe she is better off w/out her in the bridal party

that stinks, but at least she has time to ask someone else if she wants to.
If it makes you feel any better My MOH (and cousin- oh and I was her MOH a few years ago) EMAILED me a week and a half ago to say she isn't coming to the wedding. She's 400 miles away and I don't even have her dress, so there's nothing I can do.

Well, I know my friend cannot stand this woman and never even wanted her in the wedding party to begin with. So I guess it's a blessing in disguise but seriously, it *****! I agree that there's more to the story that the FSIL isn't saying.... I told her to have her FH call his brother but it hasn't happened yet. If I find out any updates I'll keep you girls in the loop of course!
