Under parents of groom and bride, do you put the first names (ie. X & Y Last Name) or do you put Dr. X and Mrs. Y Last Name?

You seperate them ...
My parents are divorced - on the invitation we put
Mr 'Doodle' and Mrs 'Doodle' request ....

My guess would be Dr. and Mrs. James Smith
ETA: or if it is the mom who is the Dr., then Mr. James Smith and Dr. Jane Smith
ETA: or if they are both Dr's Dr.'s James and Jane Smith

My cousin and her husband are both doctors and she hates getting 'dr and mrs' - she feels that she shouldn't be short the title. Just another view point to consider...
