Ok as I am sitting here watching Platinum weddings, I've realized how much I really like the monogram lights on the dance floor!! How would one get this?!?!

I would ask your dj i'm sure he's the one you ask. I would love to have that if my wedding wasn't in the afternoon.

My dj is having our names on the dancefloor w/ lights. It is actually pretty cheap and I think most dj companies offer it

its called a gobo. Your DJ/band can do. You may have to have a lighting package. You usually have to pay a set up fee for the etching of the disk.

If that does not work, I highly recm'd purchasing from this company - as I've had personal experience with it - it's a bit on the 'smaller' side - but totally does the job: http://www.goboman.com/
You would buy the projector, and then it comes with a few other gobo screens, but one customized w/your monogram on it.

thanks for the info.. I just booked my DJ last night, and he was offering this for $150...I really wanted it, but thought it was just too expensive for it. Now I know i can buy my own! lol
