FH and I are not thinking about taking a big HM this year because we want to buy a house by the end of the year. However, we are TOTALLY going to need a mini-vacation following the wedding. . .maybe 3-4 hours away from LI for a couple of days. All I can think of is the Hamptons, AC, or possibly the Poconos. What are some other ideas?

It depends on what exactly you are looking for. But as a recomendation... if you wanted to Poconos... the TreeTop or Fernwood villas are excellent! I would totally check that out. It's like staying in your own private little house! Actually another bride on the 09 board is staying there for a few days after the wedding.

Caesars Pocono Resorts -- 3 of the 4 resorts are couples only.....when we went we stayed in a room that had a heart shaped jacuzzi, our own pool, and a sauna. You don't even have to leave the room. It is all inclusive also.....check it out
