So my FW and I have been happily engaged since Nov. 7, 2007 (i remember exact date and all the little details of the day). We decided to wait till after the holidays to start planning and true to word we have. We are about to put down a deposit on the Jericho Terrace in Mineola for the Dome Room on Feb. 7, 2009, I just wanted to know if anyone has had a wedding there and can give us an insight as to how many people attended and was it spacey enough.
We need to guarantee 200 people, right now we have 230 people on our guest list.

I WOULD Say to keep it under 250 to fit comfortably. If you invite 230, always expect a certain percentage to rsvp no. So i think it will be just the perfect size, you shouldn't have a problem

I'm at JT bride but not in that room. You really don't want to hit your max with the room because it will be very tight. If you're minimum is 200, I would invite more than 230, probably closer to 250. The max your room holds is 250, right?

FH's Best Man had his wedding in that room this past August. It was very beautiful. I believe they had about 210 people and it looked great!!!! Good Luck planning!
