OMG I just came back from the ceremony and I was sobbing. She looked so beautifulBTW she is my real life friend and I came home a day early from Hawaii to be at her wedding. I am going to get ready for the reception now. It is at the Meadow Club.

Jen and John's wedding was so beautiful. Jen looked so pretty. She kinda looked like Jessica Simpson. At the church when I saw her come out of the limo thats when the tears started. During the ceremony we were reminded of our ceremony. It was weird being at another wedding so soon. Jen's dress was what she called a simle dress from David's Bridal. She showed me a picture online but you all know how it is hard to see the dresses in those pictures. Her dress was absolutely perfect for her. She had her hair half up and half down in loose waves/curls woth the veil on top of her head, no tiara. The reception was at the Maedow Club. We missed most of the cocktail hour because we had to get ready after the long flight back from Hawaii, but the few minutes we had in the cocktail hour was great. It was outside and in that enclosed room around the main room. The only negatives about the Meadow Club was sharing of the bathrooms between all of the parties and having to go downstairs for the bathroom. The parties didn't interfere with eachother at all, but at the end of the wedding while waiting outside for the limos and cars Jen and another bride were on the steps waiting together. Neither one seemed to mind, but I know some of you don't want to see another bride that day so you may want to try to stagger the times of the events to prevent this if you mind. But overall everything was wonderful. I had Prime Rib - delicious! And Ray had some kind of chicken that he loved. The waitstaff was very friendly. One waitress in particular went out of her way bring trays of drinks to our table numerous times throughout the night at the equest of my cousin, when the bar was only a few steps away. The centerpieces and flowers were white lillies. They were very fragrant. I brought one home! Jen is a graphic artist so she made a lot of nice stuff for the wedding like the programs and favors and placecards. The favors were personalized candles with jordan almonds attached. She also did placecard frames. It was weird getting our placecard 'Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fischer' I was like where is mine? Tommy's Tunes was the DJ and again the dance floor was packed all night. Patken was her photographer. We had an awesome time! The dance with her father was to Daddy's Little Girl...very cute. And Johns dance with his mom was to 'I Hope You Dance'. Jen was watching and smiling and looked so happy wathcing them. I got a great picture of that. My cousin caught the garter and my friend Allyson got the bouquet. It was my first time not going out to try to catch the bouquet. But I got a good picture instead. I actually got pictures of everything! But I am only going to post 2 pictures because I didn't get her permission to post them all... one of Jen and John and one of the table so you can see her beautiful centerpieces and favors.
