I really want live band but I know its will be way over my budget. If you know any great deals out there, kindly let me know... I know Music is important for the event. I always wanted a live band...

I know...it is so pricey! Most quotes I got were $6500-7000. That included ceremony music and CH music.
How many people are going to your wedding? Maybe you can go with a small band...6 pieces?

Glad to hear that, we ended up signing with the first band we saw because we needed someone who could accomidate our need of an American band AND a Greek one to switch off throughout the night, and I already knew this was the only one I would like (the rest were awful on their websites alone...). I was worried that we may have overpaid, but sounds like we actually did OK!
How many pieces is a regular band if 6 is small? I can't remember exactly what we signed for, but I think it was a 6 piece American band plus a 3 piece Greek band... and we'll have over 200 people... As far as I know the bands play separately, so it's not like it's a 9 piece band or anything..
