We live together!! I always told my old fashioned parents that I was going to live with someone first before we got married and they'd have to deal with it - so they have been ok. Better than I would have thought, but I'm a very determined person and they know when I believe something, there's no changing my mind.

we wont live together until we're married - not because we are old fashioned, but because we both live at home and are sving $$ for a house

me & FH have been living together for a lil over a year...I think its a really good idea....in my circumstance I lived with him because my parents moved out of state and could not afford to live by myself...so he moved in with me to help with expenses...it was the best move we made....I love it...it teached you alot about being responsible and will give you insight as to what your relationship will be like after being married

We both live at home with our parents to save money. We are planning to buy a house before the wedding. So we'll probably be living together sometime before the wedding.

We both still live at home trying to save money. We want to buy something next year before the wedding. So we hope to move into together sometime before the wedding.

I believe in whatever works best for each couple. At the moment we are both staying with our parents until our home is ready in July (it actually looks like it is going to be close to August but that's another story). He practicaly lives here now but not officially. I can't wait to live with FH!!!

we do not live together......but we do spend the weekends at one or the others house b/c he lives in bklyn and im in babylon. so we are toegtehr all weekend if that counts. mainly we are trying to save money so we can buy something next year.

I have a similar situation......he lives in Queens and I live on L.I. We are getting ready to begin house hunting!!

I want to move in together, but FH is old fashion and wants to wait till after we're married. I know everyone is like 'you don't know what they are like until you live with them', but I guess we'll take our chances!

I agree. FH and I live together ... it was just kind of natural for us. To be honest, nothing really changed for us when we moved in - there were no big surprises. It wasn't a test run, we just wanted to move in together. I think we would have been fine either way, but I don't believe in that whole anti-cohabitation thing. But for those who do, I think it's great. It might be nice to wait until your married, it's just not important to me to do that.

FH and I don't live together but I don't pay rent so we save alot of money that way..and his rent is very cheap...this is the only reason we don't live together.

We moved in together before the wedding and it was the best thing we could have done. I really got to know DH better than I could have if we didn't live together. It also made the transition to being married so much easier.

Yeah, me too. But mainly b/c we're moving to Florida right after we get back from our honeymoon. We figured we'd save more money for the wedding by not having to pay any rent. Plus we live in the same town, so it's not like I don't see him all the time anyways.

I wish we could live together now...my family is very old fashioned and basically it's a no go until after we're married! But at this point I guess it's good cuz we are saving money...but if I could I would definitely have moved in with him by now!

FH and I have lived together for 5 years now. I wouldnt change that at all. I think living together helps you get to know them a little better. I already know his habits thta I cant stand and how he is going to react if we are in a certain situation.

To my I think its important but I dont think its always necessary
