LIW girls to the rescue!!! Bridal shower help!...please?

hi girls!!!!

of course your the first ladies i go to when i need some help planning anything wedding related cuz your all just so creative and helpfull!!!

anywho.. My cousin is Getting married in Feb. and my mom and i wanted to throw her a SMALL (20 people) cocktail pampering shower... We want to do so cuz she just had a baby in Oct and had a great BIG baby shower but is doing nothing for the wedding so we wanted to do something for HER!

ok so i made the invites they came out super cute ill take a pic and post tomorrow..but now i could really use help with the rest... we're on a SUPER tight budget and dont really know if we can even do a favor cuz my idea was shot when i realized it was the wedding favor.. so HELP ME PLEASE!!

her wedding theme is snowflakes and ice, colors are ice blue and silver.. they are doing snowflake orniments as favors for the wedding so thats out.. so im open for any creative cheap ideas to make this as nice as possible for her!

Food will consist of mostly appitizers and pick ons and obviously cocktails!

def put a note in the invites to bring an ornament for their tree.. they did that for my cousin and it was so nice!!!!

favors - maybe do candycanes.. wrapped in a bow

or one candycane and if you buy felt you can make really cute mice where the candy cane goes through the mouse... ill find a pic.

this is one of mine.. its old so its a little ratty looking

maybe buy the white chocolate covered pretzels and put them in a goody bag with snowflakes or some other 'blue' motif. Hit the dollar store for those. Good luck!

When are you having the shower? Maybe you can get some snowflake stuff on clearance after christmas! Or you can do snowflake cookies maybe with icing and sprinkles of her colors..everyone always loves food for favors (at least I know I do!!!)

Both of these favors are .99 each...they are sold at wrapwithus.com located in Syosset...so you wouldn't have to pay shipping...

I'll see what else I can find...

You can also give packets of Swiss Miss and just slap a label on there that says TY with some snowflakes on it and such..

And DEF have people bring ornaments! Love that idea!

Maybe you could bake some snowflake cookies and wrap them cute! I'm sure you'll get your moneys worth and who doesn't like cookies?

I was going to say snowflake cookies...
What about snowflake chocolate lollipops...You could do half in white and half in blue... Its cheap and easy.... Probably cost you 5 bux!
Also... Check out oriental trading co online.... I am positive you could find favors on there... And I think all there christmas/holiday stuff is on sale... And you pay a small amount for bulk....
