I forgot who it was but there was a girl on here who had the craziest FMIL stories. My favorite was the one where her FMIL was mad at her because she didn't thank her when she got engaged. Her reasoning you ask? It would not have been possible for them to get engaged if she never brought her son into this world so she should be thanking her. Damn i wish I remembered who this was!

agreed!!!
unfortunately FH's Mom passed away in '99 so i never got to meet her!so i don't have a FMIL to compare with anyone! his family is so wonderful though i'm sure i would have loved her!

that was Tara08, who really does seem to have the FMIL from he-ll!
when FH and i first started dating...boy the stories i could tell you...but now...she's totally supportive and so helpful. we've made a complete turn around.
My FMIL got so stressed after she signed the contract for the rehearsal dinner, all the capilaries burst in her eyes, she looked possessed. She said it was because she thought SHE was spending too much on the RD and that $2.00 extra for top shelf was ridiculous. MIND YOU MY DAD IS PAYING FOR THE RH, and me and FH are paying for eveything else. The only thing I like about this woman is that she gave birth to my FH.

I've been with fh for 8 years all together. Lived together for 5 years. FIL have ignored my existence for the last 4-5 years. Yeah, the last time we actually spoke was 2002-2003, since then on my engagement day fmil gave me a quick congrats on the phone after gasping when fh told her the news.

you do take the cake...its one thing to fight with FIL's but you have no communication with them at all and haven't

i try to never think about the whole thing, but sometimes it really does hurt that they don't know me but have passed so many judgements based on my nationality, but my solace is that their grandchildren will be half beaners whether they like it or not!![]()

Crashing from 07-she scared vendors away, and just the other day freaked out on my FSIL for talking about wedding cakes with my future nieces (who are 3,5 and 6!)
