Yeah, I thought the new boards would have something on the FM icon, envelope open for mail, closed if there is none.

I'm always logged on. I never know if I have new FM once I come to LIW for the first time during the day. I think it would make many of us very happy to have some sort of notification when we have FM, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, please.

I agree...when I'm logged on all day, I never know if I have FM unless I go and check. I would like some sort of sign...smoke signals perhaps? something?
