Why do you keep removing certain people's postings?

Re: LIWeddings
I removed a very derogatory posting made by a fake bride to T.
I then removed the replies to that post because now they made zero sense!

Re: LIWeddings
How can you tell the difference between the fake brides and the real brides?
(I know my question sounds like it should have a punchline, but I don't mean it that way!)

Re: LIWeddings
I didn't notice any curses in that post. Why can't we just ignore those posts, rather than spend time deleting them. If people would just ignore those negative posts and stick to the issues and topics at hand, that wouldn't be necessary. It seems that people actually like to respond to the negative posts. I don't understand...

Re: LIWeddings
Thanks LIW! It actually does make sense now and I am glad you removed the nasty post. I also hope you warned or yanked the account of the person who did it. IF it's her and not some random troll. Which I seriously doubt.

Re: LIWeddings
Lunatrek - telling the difference is rather easy. Every time you post, your IP address (unique to each computer) is recorded. So, all I have to do is look in the log files to find the IP and search it against all the other IPs that have posted. Sounds complicated but in actuality it takes only seconds. In this case the poster made their first post as a slam dunk to T. Very unusual, wouldn't you say? So, I looked up the IP (BTW-it returns to a very large company located in suffolk county) and then did a search against the other posts and bingo, I have a match! So, now we have a bride with two profiles. Thus the newly created profile was make for the purpose of staying anonymous while they said some not so nice things. So, I removed the post and deactivated the fake brides account. Then I deleted the replies to the deleted post.

Re: LIWeddings
minniebride14 - there doesn't have to be 4 letter words in a post to make it inappropriate.

Does the regular poster then get deleted also?

Re: LIWeddings
I totally agree, but I also think that some girls on this forum enjoy the tit for tat that goes on. If everyone ignored the negative/false/derogatory posts, the posters wouldn't continue posting. Again, just my opinion...
