No matter what kind of heated topics or disagreements that go on here, it is SO touching to see everyone pull together for JoAnna Berggren. There are such wonderful and amazing women on this board and Ron and Liz, what an incredible donation you have made. We truly are a loving group.
I don't know if anyone knew JoAnna, but if you did and want information on attending her services, please FM me.
On another note...News 12 is camped outside of my sons school. C'mon people, I know they need a story...but have a little compassion!

I was thinking about your son today. How is he handling this? I can't imagine a young person going through this at all. This is such a terrible way to teach about dying to young kids, especially concerning a situation that was so senseless.

He's doing pretty good, actually. When we told him, he was sad, but moved onto something else fairly quickly. Later on he was playing, and said to me 'I hope Mrs. Berggren has family in Heaven so she won't be alone'. It's on his mind, but he's OK.
I think the older kids may have a harder time with it and of course the teachers.
So sad

I completely agree. The ladies of LIW are an amazing, marvelous group of loving compassionate people. How lucky we all are to be part of this.

I just wanted to add that each one of us here should treasure the days we have with our family, FH/DH and friends. It is moments like this that i look at my life and say....THANK YOU.

OMG Words cannot express the sadness I feel for JoAnna and her family, but the happiness I feel about LIW...all it stands for, all the people involved, the wonderful GUys and Girls who make this a wonderful place to be....I am overwhelmed with feelings..I feel so much Love
