LIWeddings Song Contest

Very talented ladies!!!! Impressive

These are great!
Where are Anna and Debbie?? With the way they write I just know they'll have something funny to add!

WOW amazing ladies

ok here we go... to the tune of Pina Colada...

I'm planning a May wedding
I've been planning so long
like over two years now
Maybe I'll just wear a thong
So i have to pick bouquets out
and a photographer too
and then i have to dress up
and gladly say 'I do'

When I have a wedding question
or when I need to just vent
I turn on my computer
and click on the link
LI Weddings.com
is the source that I use
It has very helpful ladies
You can never lose

I can't think about a honeymoon
I have way too much to do
I cant even study
For my dumb grad school
So i'll turn on my computer
and i'll look at the ads
on Li weddings.com
I won't be so mad

Yes i have a wedding question
Yes I need to vent
I have to turn on my computer
and click on that link
I've got to get the answers right now
to all the questions i have
you're always right there
I have to log on right now

I see i have many days left
four hundred and sixty two
I have quite some time yeah
but what are you gonna do
I also have nineteen hours
and some minutes too
then i look at my planner
and so far the days flew

Yes I am a board fanatic
on LI Weddings .com
I hope to become addicted
It is not that far
It is an obsession
that is my confession

so thanks to LI Weddings
I really don't dread this

best i could do!!!

Very Kool

To the tune of YMCA (I know it's the wrong song, but I figured I'd take creative license )

Young bride, there's no need to feel down
I said young bride choose tiara or crown
I said young bride take a good look around
There's no need to be unhappy...

Young bride there's a place you can go,
I said young bride, and my girls sure will know
Pick a screen name,
and I'm sure you will find
how to make your day a good time

It's fun to play at the ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You'll plan your day with us, ELL EYE WEDDINGS
We know everything that your guests will enjoy
You can hang out without the boys...

It's fun to play at the ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You'll plan your day with us, ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You can choose a DJ,
Find a bargain or steal,
You can plan from cocktails to meal...

Young bride, are you listening to me?
I said young bride, JUST SAY NO money tree,
I said young bride, please tell us your theme
But you've got to know this one thing

No bride does it all by herself
I said young bride put you MIL (pronounce mil, as in 'millie') on a shelf
And just log on to Ell Eye Weddings now
I'm sure we can help you today

It's fun to play at the ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You'll plan your day with us, ELL EYE WEDDINGS
We know everything that your guest will enjoy
You can hang out without the boys...

It's fun to play at the ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You'll plan your day with us, ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You can choose a DJ,
Find a bargain or steal,
You can plan from cocktails to meal...

Young bride, I was once in your shoes
I said I was down with the planning blues
I felt no one cared if chicken or beef,
My inlaws gave me grief

That's when someone came up to me
and said young bride, just log on and you'll see
There's a place there just for obsessive brides
Every girl will be on your side

It's fun to play at the ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You'll plan your day with us, ELL EYE WEDDINGS
We know everything that your guest will enjoy
You can hang out without the boys...

It's fun to play at the ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You'll plan your day with us, ELL EYE WEDDINGS
You can choose a DJ,
Find a bargain or steal,
You can plan from cocktails to meal...

This is hysterical

Good Jenn!!!!!!!!

Jenn That was great. OMG LMFAO ROTFL!!!!!

I am going to walk around the apartment singing these songs. Then you know for sure FI will think I am a little looney and deserve the title I'm obsessed.

OK another one...Can you tell i love writing??!!
Pina Colada....

I was tired of planning
It's been over two tears
I had no one to turn to
I cried lots of tears
So while on the computer
I searched all around
and to my amazement
Look what I found

LI Weddings . com
Is the online magazine
For Long Island brides
I thought it was a dream
The members are so nice here
Their faces all gleam
And if you ask them
They'll meet for a beer

I didn't think about my problems
i wasn't stressed out at all
In fact as time passed
I started to have a ball
So I started to post
and I also replied
And though I was a new member
no one seemed to mind

Yes one year has passed
Yes I am a fanatic
I would rather nothing else
No I wouldn't have it
Because this site is so helpful
And the tips have been great
At LI Weddings
Where I go to escape

So now I look at my count down clock
I have lots of days left
I know it will go by fast
Or i'll just be an addict
It is my only choice now
I will never leave
After i am married
You will still hear me

Because I need LI Weddings
It has helped me so much
If you have a wedding to plan for
Please come talk to us

hehe ok that's it for me....

I'll try it...

I was tired of my bride mags
and planning all alone
wanted to talk with some other brides
from my former home
So I went to my laptop
and searched for a site
to my sheer amazement
there was a website that read

'If you want help with your wedding
and advice from other brides
If you can't find a vendor
If you need a good price
If you like logging on at midnight
or in the middle of the day
Then LI weddings is your answer
log on the board and feel great!'

I didn't think I 'd become addicted
I know that sounds kind of strange
But the brides on the board
seemed to feel quite the same
So I log on at midnight
or in the midst of the day
to get advice on planning
or just to vent about the day
Although I don't really know them
the other brides feel like friends.

'Yes I like LI Weddings
and chatting with the other brides
I'm not much into bride mags
I am into this site
I've got to finish all my planning
by August or I'm dead
for a day at the golf course
where I'll finally wed.

So I wait for an answer
on the post that I've placed
should I go with the red gown
or something else with less lace?
Then I finally got some answers
not just one but a few
'If you want to wear the red gown
I'm sure it will do.'

If you like to chat a lot
and want advice from other brides
or just looking for pictures
or need some good vibes
Log onto LI Weddings
and start on your quest
this is the place for the answers
and the BRIDES ARE THE BEST!!
