Lizlen-or anyone else looking for FG dress

We finally got to TriCounty and picked up a flowergirl dress! I couldn't tell you exactly where the booth is located-we walked in circles a few times before we found it. It's on the first floor, it's a big booth, and they have dresses hanging over the aisle. A very nice Asian woman runs it.

The dresses are all very reasonably priced (approx. $ 60-75) and there is a large selection. She has many of the dresses there in stock.

Do you know what sizes she carried?? My FG is only going to be 2, so I'm having a hard time finding a nice FG dress that small.

Do you happen to remember if they have any of the dresses that are white but have the color sash in the middle. I love that style and not every place has that.

Karen, my FG is a size 4 and there was plenty of selection in her size. I'm pretty sure that I saw small sizes when I was searching the racks. We bought a suit for my cousin (who is 24 mos) there.

Babeyblu-no, didn't see any dresses with colored sash...

Good luck!! It's alot of fun trying on dresses with the little ones. When my FG put the dress on she told me she liked it because it wasn't scratchy and she thought she looked like a princess in it. Awww.

That was soooo sweet of you to remember to look. I really have to get to Tri-County again. I'm determined to find that booth !!!!

I may have a possible FG dress that I found at Wedding Center of Commack. Here's a pic. I want to see if I like any dress better than this one that also goes w/the BP.

I guess maybe I feel pretty good about my choice now
It comes in both ivory or white.
You can have it white embroidery on white, or like a light lavender colored embroidery on white, or ivory.

If I get it, I will not get the lavender, I will get it white on white.

FYI - I already got a quote from Netbride - $93
At Commack, it was $106

Tammy, Tri County is a huge flea market, with all types of Vendors and booths. It's GREAT -- It's in Levitown, on Hempstead Tpke, YOu can take the Wantagh to W3E - and go I'd say less than a mile, on Hempstead Tpke, and it'll be to your left. 1-2 lights after the Ballys.

Edit to say they also have a huge great jewelry exchange upstairs - this is something you MUST check out if you love jewelry.

Thanks Liz, I definitely will check it out. You probably shouldn't have told me. I don't have a lot of discipline and I'll probably buy all sorts of non-wedding related things.

I almost forgot about the jewelery exchange...we got our wedding rings there. Lots and lots and LOTS of nice, sparkly things to look at up there!!!
