About the Brazillian..............did it start growing back faster than when we went to Bliss?

I thought the brazilian was EVERYTHING - bikini and the back. And it didn't hurt in the back and you stayed laying on your back? Do you know how many people we're probably grossing out??

Wanda, question, how many days is that for you between first day and first site of growth??

Next question, if I go for the first time, I should leave some hair?? is that what you are saying?? or is she saying, she will not remove all the hair in your first go around??

it's your choice shamma - the other reason why she leaves a little is cuz it's a little more sensitive there because of the pubic bone.... whenever you do work on top of a bone - it's always more sensitive - ask anyone who has a tattoo..

OK - when I first went to Bliss they used the same kind of wax. They also used a strip even tho' the wax can peel off by itself. They are extremely sanitary and give you a paper panty to wear. TO do the backside all you have to do is lift your leg still laying on your back, and trust me they get it all. In that position, I kind of felt like I was home with LEN, LOL

It took at least a week to start growing, and then very slowly. YEAH

Then next time we went we also took Wanda to this wonderful charming lady who does it out fo her home.
I personally preferred this b/c it was more personal and she was wonderful - had calming music in the background.
She used the same exact kind of wax, but did not use the strip.

The pain or lack of pain was about the same at both places.

What I'm noticing now tho' is that I started growing a little bit a few days ago, like wanda said monday or tuesday. Last time it took longer. Also I have to admit, it didn't stay as smooth as when I went to Bliss. I wonder if using the strip made the difference.
Lisa what are your thoughts on this?

Liz - I totally agree with you.... I'm glad to hear that I'm not going crazy... I thought I was. When we left, later on that evening I found a couple of hairs, and figured - ok, maybe my hair wasn't long enuf!

Anyway, I found that it did grow back a lot quicker - Pete was happy with it, but he was happier when we went to Bliss.... Although, for the time and $ that I saved, I think a couple of hairs & a little quicker growth might be overlooked!

Ya brazilian is everything!! I didn’t know that at first. Well as she got further down she would tell me to move my leg to the side. But no doggy style type of thing like I had heard!

Shamma we went last Wedn. and I saw signs early this week.

Where is bliss and how much was it? You went bald??? (No need to answer if u don't want to) - FI would absolutely LOVE me if I did that - I can't help but feel like I would scratch all day !

You don't have to leave the strip at all, it's more sensitive there, but to be hones (and this answers your question jndd as well) the 2nd time I went completely BALD and I like that better
I figure I dont need the strip at all

Once it grows back, it is not so prickly like after you shave.
Do not shave tho' for a bit before you go, you need the wax to be able to grasp something, although no need to go w/a full bush either

danielle - bliss is in soho - the brazilian was $55 & i tipped the girl $20, plus train rides & lunch (we went for thai food) - i wound up spending around $100!

Bliss charged $55, the lady charged $45.......

Bliss is in NYC - 2 locations, one midtown, one soho.
Appt. only

The lady is in Hicksville in her home. Appts only.

Since I was a newbie at it and only shaved that area once.. She trimmed some of the hair off of me, with scissors first. Then went on to the wax. I guess I had a full bush and a half!

Liz, if you go to the lady in LI no , if you go to Bliss yes. When I say shave, I mean, currently I shave that area to keep the hair away. But you answered my question by saying do not shave before I go. I want bald. When hubby does it for me, its always clean, but I am sure never as clean as a brazillian will get it.
