Hi...... any suggestions on honeymoon locations that we can drive to? Due to business we cant take time off.... looking to spend a few days somewhere romantic.

I have always loved the poconos, its close to drive and centered around couples, doesn't get much more romantic than that.

I'm looking for ideas as well. I'm thinking of a B&B maybe in Cape May and then a drive down to AC for a day or two. I definitely want to do a B&B though, something romantic for a few days.

FH & I were thinking of either going to Washington D.C. for a couple of days and then maybe Pennsylvania on the way home. We also thought of going to Block Island or Cape Cod.

FH and i live in massachusetts and we were thinking of doing martha's vinyard or nantucket. as long as it's a spring/summer wedding, the weather will be perfect! they have tons of little B&Bs and beaches, main streets, etc. very quaint. and what's nice is that it's close enough to go back anytime for a 'second honeymoon'

I got some ideas: Most are already said though....
1. Newport: for the mansions & the cute B&Bs or inns...& for the cute bars. You can also spend some time at Mystic (it's not far away & has plenty to do).
2. Cape Cod: for the whale watching, for the lobster & for Chatham (a really beautiful small town). Went here for a whole vacation & thought it was very romantic.
3. DC & Williamsburg PA: if you are a history buff, why not? Bush Gardens is nice & do some of the vineyard tours.
4. Montauk (spend a whole weekend WAY out east...get some corn on the cob, a pie, fruit picking, etc.)
But what I would probably do: got to a cute inn a bit upstate: hike, sleep late & take bubble baths.
