Hey Girls! I've never posted before, but I read your postings all the time and figured it was time I get in on them!
Anywho, I'm going to start looking at locations and I was wondering if anyone has heard anything good or bad about Martha Clara Vineyards OR if anyone has any suggestions for a none beach type location? Thanks alot!

Well, 1st off: Welcome to the site!!!
Sorry I cant help ya cuz I'm the total opposite... I want that beach feeling, but maybe if you pick up the Locations magazine in a store, you can find what you're looking for. I'm never seen it so I have no idea what it has, but its a start

welcome to the addiction, you can also ask on the Bride helping bride broad they are very helpful they can let you know about that place.

tons of non beach locations...westbury manor , watermill, fox hollow, flowerfield, eastwind...
do you want 'not beach' or no water at all?

Well I mean, if they have a pond or something Im not going to flip out, just no sand and ocean type deals, you know?
More trees and nature and earthy, I want the fall colors around me (since we are getting married in the fall)

DEFINITELY Fox Hollow...it is STUNNING and has the most beautiful gardens and the winter garden pavillion room is amazing...if FH didnt want water we would be getting married there!

I also looked at the Vineyard Caterers website and they look amazing also, so I'll have to check them out as well.
Does anyone know the aprox pricing for these places b/c it's not listed anywhere?

Vineyard Caterers is listed as $85-$115. The price fluctuates depending on the day, time, time of year, extras, etc. You could pay more, you could pay less. We negotiated our butts off, and got a good price. Being off season helped too It'll be gorgeous that time of year...not only the site, but the surrounding areas..North Fork. Martha Clara is nice too. We looked into that, but it was just out of our budget..between site fees, rentals, etc.

Yes! Def check my profile!!! I went there last week and have a ton of pics! If you like gardens and all the wonderful colors, then this is the place for you And theres no sand!!! LOL
