Location for Baptism after party...

Location for Baptism after party...

Does anyone know of good restaurants in Suffolk County that we could have it at?

We don't know what to do? Do we have it in a restaurant with a lot less people (we can't afford too many people with the cost of a restaurant), or do we have it in an empty hall with more people, and decorate it, and prepare the food ourselves? We don't have any ideas for the restaurant part, but as for the hall, we may be able to use a huge room at the Holbrook Fire Department (they hold the Installation Dinners there). It has a kitchen and a bar area. What do you think? What would be more appropriate? We can't have it at anyone's house since we all live out of state.

We have friends who have had it in a hall and they invited a lot of people. You could also keep it small and just have some close relatives join you at a restaurant.
If you can have it at the firehouse, then go for it.

If we did it at the firehouse, it would be about 50-60 people. (who knows who would really come). Someone said that's too many, it should be a small affair.

I think his Baptism should be whatever you want it to be. I have been to Baptism's where there have been 100 people. Have it at the Firehouse

I think you should have as many people as you want and can afford. There's no rule for christenings.

We just made our list. We are keeping it 'small' with 69 adults and 31 children.

Yes folks, that's our 'cut down as small as it can go' list.
