Hi, can anyone give me suggestions for nice places (nothing too fancy) for our casual day pictures. I live in Queens but will go basically anywhere with the exception of probably Suffolk County. It could be in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau, etc. I appreciate it.

The Cloisters are always pretty. South Street Seaport by the piers are nice as well. I don't know if you need a permit to take professional photos in those areas. I don't know if you're taking your casual pics now or later on during the spring, but the botanical gardens are gorgeous sites to take those picures.
St. Patricks, in Glen Cove Long Island, is a small Catholic church that looks like it was lifted from the Cloisters. It has a very medieval look to it and has these archways that are perfect for framing shots.
That's all I can think of for now, but I'll keep posting if I think of any more.

There are so many wonderful places in Central Park that would be great. Check out the park map and see a site you might be of interest in. I know there are many places that have a special meaning to me, and maybe there are some that would have a meaning for you. The poet's walk is one of my favorite sites in the park.
