Take Southern State or Northern State to Wantagh Parkway.
From SS, go North to Hempstead Turnpike, Route 24, going East.
From NS, go South to Hempstead Turnpike, Route 24, going East.
You will pass Tri-County Flea Market on your left, St. Bernard's Church on your right. After you see the Rite-Aid Pharmacy/Bank of America/Jay's appliance store on your left, make the next right possible onto the 'service road'. The 'service road' empties out into a big L-shaped parking lot with a gas station on the corner and a supermarket. Dortoni's is in this shopping center. It faces the next intersection which is Gardiners Avenue/Jerusalem Avenue. It does not face Hempstead Turnpike.
I grew up less than a mile from there and went in there all the time to buy pastries. Be prepared for a wait, it is a very busy bakery!

I LOVE DORTONIS !!! I LIVE LIKE 3 Min away its an Awsome place AND OMG THEIR CAKES ARE SO SO SO SO SO SO SSO SO SO PRETTY!!! You have no idea ..... I bought a cake from them this morning for my boss's b-day and every person in my office was talking about how Freash and good it was ...
