The Riverview in Oakdale is nice - right on the water.
That was my suggestion. Either the Riverview on the water (beautiful) or the Snapper Inn a few doors down. Also very beautiful.

Another restaurant with a different kind of atmosphere is The Crazy Dog in Sayville on Main Street. They have a private party room.
