I am not sure of teh prices or where in brroklyn or queens but i live in Bayside and they have ton of bar/restauraunts along bell blvdthat you can have showers at. In fact i have a suspicions but not 100% that mine mightbe at one of them!!

I know you wanted queens or brooklyn, but I know Charlie Brown's Steakhouse has private rooms available and their catering menu's are in that price range. They have 2 out in Nassau County if you're interested. I am planning on having my rehersal dinner at the Yonker's location.
Try Peppercorn's in Farmingdale. The food is great and the room is cute.

I held my sister's shower at the Olive Garden. I don't know if there are any in Queens, but it was $12.95 per person. Included Salad, Soup, choice of 4 entrees, ice cream desert, soda, coffee, & tea. Wasn't bad and had a private room. We brought in our own special occasion cake for her. Oh also, it was a 4 hr affair.
