Locations for Engagement Photos

We just booked our photographer and our package includes engagement photos, we'd like a park or lake type place. At first we thought of Caumsett but we'd have to walk a couple of miles to get to the LI Sound and my guess is our photographer doesn't want to walk that distance with all his equipment, does anyone have any other ideas.

We were thinking about that, do you know if the arboretums make you pay to take engagement photos. I know some places make you pay to take regular wedding photos on the grounds.

if they do make u pay, just make sure there aren't many if any ppl around...

I just took my pics at Belmont State Park in West Babylon. I should have them back next week, but the park was gorgeous and there were so many different places in there to take pics

We've been there once or twice, it is really pretty over there, but the park was always crowded. Was this a problem or were you able to find a place that didn't have a lot of people.

Actually it was empty. It was my first time there, and there was like noone around. We went on a Wednesday at 4:30. I am sure on the weekends it is very crowded, but most photogs don't do e-pics on the weekends anyway

Thanks! I forgot we went on the weekend. Definitely have to keep Belmont in mind!

i came across a website today... it has parks and stuff.. i went on to look for apple picking places... i found it helpful...
