Locations in Queens for wedding pictures?

I was going to do Brooklyn...but, I'm not gonna get stuck in traffic on the Belt! lol

Can you ladies please suggest any locations for wedding pics in Queens?
I there's Charles Park...but I'm not too crazy about it.

We're going to Flushing Meadow Park in Flushing, by the marina and the area where the World's Fair was held (Unisphere).

Another choice we toyed with was the bike path alongside the Cross Island Parkway (by Fort Totten)...

If you like the rustic look you can go to the Queens County Farm Museum.
you can search on this site to find some photos from girls e-pics and I know one girl had gotten married there early this year.

I think Forest Park is beautiful, they have some beautiful walking trails and then the carousel! I bet you could take some awesome pics there!

I took mine in Fort Totten park (in my album). I wasn't familiar with queens but my photog is and he recommended it.

The good thing was because he was familiar with it, he already had 3 or 4 areas of the park he wanted to shoot so we didnt have to wander around aimlessly.

Maybe go and walk around to get some ideas beforehand?

That's exactly was what I'm planning on doing. I wanna check out a few places beforehand...

When was the last time you went to Russo's ?????

They put in this amazing garden area that you can take pictures in now.....much better then any place in queens you take pictures.


In flushing corona park by the zoo there is a merry-go-round that would be cute to take pictures on

I saw the garden area at Russo's and I definitely like it- but I can't stand those homes in the bkgd. I guess they could be photo-shopped out or something. I gotta ask my photographer.

BUT I also misread your post and thought you were asking about Epics. I don't know if I would do wedding pics at fort totten only because we were doing alot of sitting on dirty things and climbing down and on top of boulders to get pics. I prob wouldn't do that in my wedding dress unless it was the trash the dress shoot!

Still, worth a look if you are near by

Just an FYI I don't live far from there I'm pretty sure that the carousel isn't open this year..I'm hoping it is for my wedding next year cause I want to take pics there as well.

In Richmond Hill (Park Lane South & 110 St) there is some nice gardens. There might still be a gazebo there as well.
