'Lodging information' enclosures
We only blocked rooms at one hotel and they gave us little slips of paper (that are unattractive)and since we want to include 2 other hotels to choose from, we're going to do it all on one piece of paper. How did everyone else do this? I'm stuck on the wording!! Thanks!

I didn't want a bunch of little mismatched enclosures in our inviatations so we made up our own enclosre containing directions & lodging information. I made it in word using a 3 columns, column one for directions to the church, column two for directions to the reception and column three for lodging information. It folded neatly into a trifold. On the front fold I put our names, wedding date, website and Directions & Lodging Information. It took a little time but they looked great.

My mom made one sheet saying something like 'Accomodations have been set aside at' the one hotel and then 'Other accomodations may be found at' then the other local hotels where we did not book rooms.

We made a map in powerpoint with all the major streets and locations they needed to know and photo-copied it on the back of a word document that we made that had directions to the church, hotels and reception sites. We booked rooms are two hotel but I put down three hotels on the sheet. I just listed the hotel names and addresses and for the two that we have a block at I just put the 'X and X wedding' that way they knew to ask. That's all we did-nothing too fancy. I have the files if you want to see them- let me know :)

enclosures --This is what we did
My fi made this amazing brochure (that people actually think we ordered from the outside). It took some time, but he is a perfectionist! It was a color brochure with our picture and the picture of the wedding site on it!! On the first side it said 'travel and accomodations information'--on the inside, on each flap, there was information on each of the three hotels--since most of our guests are coming from out of town, we also gave them information about what the hotel provides, where it is, how close it is to the airports, etc. On the back flap we told them that we are providing transportation to and from each of the hotels listed. The brochure was very comprehensive---it turned out great! We also made a little card was a color map with directions from each of the hotels to the wedding site!! If you have any questions, please ask away!! Good luck!Welcome New Vendors
