this might be a really dumb question but had to ask: for girls who are staying at a hotel the night of the wedding but not the night before, how are you arranging luggage and other essentials? i suggested to FH that we stop off at our hotel between the ceremony and CH (we have a huge gap for pictures...etc) but not sure if we should communicate this to the limo driver or just check-in after midnight.

i would call the hotel and let them know you are going to be checking in later. That way you don't have to worry about it when you are trying to take pictures.

I plan on spending the night of my wedding at the hotel but not the night before. We aren't sure where FH is going to be getting ready (right now we live in Nassau and the church/reception is in Suffolk). If we don't have a place that is closer or big enough to accommodate his GM, then he's going to get ready at the hotel. I'll just make him bring the luggage with him The other idea is if you have a BM who will be staying there with her husband (not in bridal party), you could always ask them to bring it. Or even a cousin or aunt can bring them with them.

I dropped off my car the night before, we brought overnight bags with us the day of the wedding and kept them in the limo and bridal suite.
Most hotels will give you until 2am to check in.

I never thought of keeping overnight bags in the bridal suite, that will be another question I can ask my BM when we go over the details with them next month. Thanks!

This is what we did...so we had our bags when we checked into the hotel
We did something similar. My parents kept the suitcase in their car and they dropped us off at the hotel and picked us up the next morning! We told the hotel that we we're going to have a late check in and gave them authorization to charge the card.
