I don't normally eat fast food, and today I had to do running around on my lunch hour. I wound up stopping at McDonalds and was going to get some Chicken nuggets, and then realized they had their own 'mushroom and swiss' burger.
I am obsessed with that Shroom and Swiss burger king commercial. So last week I decided to try it and I ordered the wrong thing and it was gross! So I decided to try it at McDonalds.
It was amazing, but now my tummy hurts.
Anyway, they have the stupid Monopoly game thing that they are doing. I peeled off one and I had Park Place lol I automatically thought I won 1,000,000 dollars :(
I started to plan on getting a house, maybe quitting work, paying for the wedding and getting cool stuff.
Then I read that you need Boardwalk in order to win it lol
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I think that was a blonde moment hahahahaha I am not blonde..but I think that qualifies.
I told FH and he goes 'you and everyone else is looking for boardwalk'.

Yeah not too many people, well Im guessing no people win those games. Its just a marketing technique to get people to buy food to keep sales up

Your FH is correct. I have so many Park Place's that I need a Boardwalk then i will be a happy girl. I think they do it on purpose.

yea I heard that they send them to different areas of the country- like all boardwalks go to california and all park place goes to ny-- so the chance of someone getting one is slim to none

I have a similar story..
About a year ago one of my cousins was living with us. When she moved out i was going through a pile of stuff she left in the closet that she was going to throw out. In the back corner i found a scratch off ticket. Since she had pretty much left it for the trash i scratched it.. The ticket said i had won 10k. My heart was pounding, i was just picturing using all the money towards having an amazing wedding.. Then i even felt guilty like i should tell my cousin about it.. Then something inside me thought i should read the scratch off again.. I flipped it over to read all the fine print and it was one of those damn fake ones!!

Now THAT is terrible lol Those fake lottery cards are so mean lol I would hate to do that to someone or have them do it to me haha I don't think it was as 'blonde' as what I did hah

I ALSO HAVE the park place... and need one from almost every category to win.. :( its a marketing technique.. I had my FH buying from Mcdonalds from other areas just to try to get the missing pieces.. but if you go online and see the odds you will understand why we wont win.. I should take a picture of all the stamps I collected.. so bad I have a full list itemized of what I have and need.. I relly thought this was my last yr of work... lol!
