Lola Loves Makeup

I know that a lot of girls are using Andrea from Lola Loves Makeup and I've searched the board for this answer but do you know if she travels outside Long Island (specifically Manhattan) and if so, charges for travel? I'm doing a trial with her in Huntington but would like to know before I go!

I've been communicating via e-mail with her and have asked the question twice but she hasn't answered a yes or no. Please let me know if anybody knows!

She wouldn't travel outside long island for me... she was kinda rude about it.

I'm using Christy from Christy Ann Cosmetics on LI and she will travel if at least 3 people are getting their makeup done

Ugh thanks. I have a trial scheduled but its no point if she won't travel out of LI--I will confirm for sure but thanks!

Oh, i hope it works out for you. I had my trial and LOVED it. Booked her that same night.

I felt like she was rude to me as well after telling her I dont live in Long Island and then hung up. Maybe it was just my experience...

thanks for the info! I was interested in her too based on others recommendations but I am really not able to get out to LI even for a trial... so good to know.

she wanted to charge for travel to my venue which is on LI, so I would imagine she is going to charge to come to Manhattan, plus parking but not sure.

does anyone know if she has a hair person she works with? If I were to use her, I don't know a hair person and I want someone who has worked with her before. Any recs?

she also charges a fee to come early in am that's why I couldn't afford her.
She does great work though.

Good news---I reconnected with Andrea after so many LIW people had amazing trials with her and she said she WILL come to Manhattan as long as my location is easy to get to. She won't travel to other boroughs that she's not familiar with so I am going to book a trial with her.
