Lombardis On The Bay

anyone getting married at Lombardi;s on the bay and if so are you using uplighting and who are you using? TIA

Re: Lombardis On The Bay

I am! I can't wait

We decided to use uplighting for 2 reasons:
A) I hate the light truss. The entire reception area is white and I feel like the light truss would be soooo distracting.
B) To save space. LOTB has one downfall- it's a little on the small side. I thought the uplighting would add lighting and subtle color to the room without taking up extra space.

We are getting our uplighting done through Tommy's Tunes (our DJ). Only the two side walls will have the uplighting (I think he said 10 per wall).

BTW- Its good to finally hear from another LOTB bride!

Re: Lombardis On The Bay

yes I am glad that I found someone else getting married there because I was beginning to think I was the only one. I am having a band so I was looking for a place that can just do my uplighting, Charles at LOTB said to contact LI Sounds but I wanted to see who other people booked.

Re: Lombardis On The Bay

I have heard great things about LI Sound. I'm pretty sure Tommy's does uplighting packages as well if you want to check them out as well.

Re: Lombardis On The Bay

I am getting married at Lombardi's on the Bay and yes we are getting the lighting from our dj Tommy's Tunes. I was in SHOCK how cheap it was. I was thinking a $1000 and up but it was not even half of that.
